I received my unit on Thursday and have been using it the last couple days. It has the latest firmware and the multichannel XLR output board. So far I haven’t experienced the dropout issues reported by others with the previous version of the firmware.

additional downmix scenarios (for both PCM and DSD) like 2.0 , 2.1, 4.0, 4.1etc with some control over how the LFE is treated (e.g drop completely, add to left and right channels in a way that handles the -10 dB LFE gain correctly etc ...

Hi, is DSD to PCM conversion involved in the DSD 4.0 downmix? Also will firmware upgrades be supported for macOS ( I asked this on the AudioScienceReview forum but asking here as well for the benefit of others who are not on that forum).
