Hello,
I use the VanityPro with the USB-Output board connected to a Windows-PC and I have 2 qustions.
1. Is there a possibility to check somehow from the Windows-PC if the VanityPro is in Standby-Mode (only the red LED is On) or if the device is already on (display is on) ?
I tried to check this with different USB-Tools like :
USBDeview from NirSoft : https://www.nirsoft.net/
DevManView from NirSoft
USB Device Tree Viewer from Uwe Sieber : https://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbtreeview.html
But unfortunately all the parameters of the XMOS driver devices stay the same after swtching the VanityPro on.
Then I tried to examine the ASIO Audio port with 'SoX - Sound eXchange'.
But SoX seems to have problems with ASIO devices.
The best solution would be some kind of commandline query for getting the result.
2. Is there a solution to switch the VanityPro On / Off from the PC ?
I know that this should work via HDMI-CEC, but for me it would be better to trigger this from the PC.
Regards,
Reiner
