• Can I use non oversampling 16/44 dacs

I have been lurking over the vanity for a loooong time and nos that it will be discontinued I want to take advantage.

My question is: can the sampling rate be set so that its maximum 16/44 and use non oversampling dacs?

Hi,
The VanityHD does not perform any sample rate conversion of PCM material. Its purpose is to output bit accurate data. You can use 16/44.1 NOS DAC only with 16/44.1 material (CDs).
