is it right, that the volume control from the Oppo 93 doesn´t work with the vanity 93 ?

Hello Andi,
Yes, it is correct. The digital volume function of the player is originally handled by the DAC chip on the analog board and the Vanity93 module didn't inherit this function. A wide range digital volume compromises resolution and dynamics and the output level should be set to "fixed" to get full resolution signal. Volume of individual channels can be trimmed in the speaker setup.
